What is Nutritional therapy?
Nutritional therapy is a natural therapy that works in harmony with the body’s own healing power to resolve health conditions.
At Advanced Health we welcome you in a warm, personal environment expert nutritionist to discuss your health issues and
tailor your nutrition and lifestyle programme to put you back on the right path to better health.
What happens during a Consultation?
A Nutritional Therapy consultation lasts approximately 1 hour and Nutritionist will take a detailed review of your health to date, including your
current and past symptoms, medications/supplements used, lifestyle/stress levels, current and past diets,. A detailed case history is
needed to find the causes of your symptoms From this information I can create a targeted healing dietary program, supplying recipes,
and supplement protocols if needed.
In some cases food intolerance tests, or stool testing or live blood analysis may be recommended if needed. Follow-up sessions last
60 minutes. You may be asked to keep a 3-day food diary prior to your first visit. An average of 2/3 visits should put you back on the
road to good health
What conditions can it help?
Digestive problems - heartburn, burping, bloating constipation/diarrhoea, IBS, Candida issues
Allergies / food intolerances / hayfever – I can offer Bioresonance Allergy testing, or Food Detective Antibody tests or
Fitzwilliam Food Testing( please ask for a brochure).
Low energy/fatigue - I find nutritional therapy to be very helpful for this because it can address any underlying
vitamin/mineral or nutrient deficiencies.
Cholesterol / Blood / Sugar issues – I offer Cholesterol and blood sugar measuring service as well as dietary programs to
address these issues.
Hormonal issues: Nutritional therapy can help period problems, PMS, PCOS, Menopausal issues, infertility, osteoporosis, etc
Skin Issues - Rashes, Eczema, acne, urticaria, psoriasis, hives, itching, if you suffer from any of these it’s a good idea to
have a nutritional therapy consultation to find the cause and get a treatment plan.
Frequent Infection / Low Immunity – Lack of Nutrients and elevated stress levels can be a cause here.
Arthritis / Fibromyalgia / unexplained aches and pains – Nutrient deficiencies and accumulated toxins, and over-acidity can
contribute to these issues as well as a pro inflammatory diet.
Heachaches and Migraines - Are headaches and migraines troubling you on a regular basis? It is important to get a thorough
case history to find the cause.
Insomnia and Sleep Disorders - Are you waking at night or finding it hard to go to sleep?
Detoxification - Spring and autumn are the ideal times to give your body and liver a break and eliminate those built-up toxins.
I can design your personalised detoxification programme to prevent any unwanted side effects.
The above are just some of the health issues I regularly see in our clinic. If you have any health issue you would like to enquire
about please feel free to cal me or email me and I will be delighted to help you.
